Back to Normal..

So my mom got back from vacation and boy was I excited to see her. I think I kept giving her kisses over and over for like an hour before I finally calmed down. I was a good little boy for my Mawmaw and Aunt Lauren while mom was away. She had a good time, but she said that she missed me so much. I mean how could she not miss me?

Mom has unpacked and everything is back to normal, well as normal as it can be around here. Nothing really new to report other than I have been getting a lot of Christmas cards from my furpals and getting ready for Christmas. I wonder if Santa Paws will leave me something under the tree. I thinks I have been a good boy this year. My mom might have something different to say about that though. BOL!

This weekend I am going to have my picture taken at the Happy Dog Cafe. There is the option to take the picture with Santa Paws or by oneself on a pretty snowflake background. Mom hasn't decided yet what to do. Last year the picture with Santa Paws didn't turn out too well because I was a big chicken. I have to go to the groomer's on Thursday to get ready for my photo. Yippee!

My mom took this video of me as we were watching Elliot's video. Go watch it for yourself. Mom thought I looked cute and took this video.

Christmas Card Pictures...

My mommy and I took some pictures today for our Christmas cards to send to our friends and family. Here is a couple of the ones that didn't make the card this year. Mom says I am not allowed to post the picture that made the cut because she wants it to be a surprise. I am wearing my cute vest from Lilibell's Couture, you might not be able to see it because the pictures are black and white, but mom promises to show you how handsome I look in it in a post later this week.

Pee Ess: Mom apologizes for the blurriness of the pictures. My Mawmaw was being a doofus with the camera..BOL!!

I'm Thankful For...

I just wanted to take a moment on Thanksgiving to tell all my furfriends what I am thankful for...

**For my mom who takes care of me and loves me unconditionally and gives me everything that a dog could ask for and more**

**For my Mawmaw who loves me just as much as my mom does and is a superb cuddler (That pic above is of me and my Mawmaw..just in case you were wondering...BOL)

**For the fact that even though my mom is unemployed, that financially we are okay and that we have a roof over our heads and a place to call home and that we know everything will work out for the best**

I hope that everybody has a safe and happy Thanksgiving. Be sure to spend lots of time with your families and remember not to take the little things forgranted..

Much Love,
Avery

So Long...

It has been furever since my assistant could be bothered to help me post on my blog. I bet all you furfriends forgot all about me because mom has been so lazy..

Lots of things have happened since I posted last. My mom got laid off from her job and now we spend tons of time together. She needs to get out more, she's been getting on my nerves. I do like the get to sleep in and cuddle thing though. She has been looking for a job and gets unemployment benefits, so I can still eat and everything. BOL!

I am getting ready to go in a couple of weeks and get my christmas picture taken at the Happy Dog. My mom ordered a special outfit for me from Chewy and Lilibell's mom. You can buy a super cute outfit too from Lilibell's Couture. They have boys and girls dog clothes.

We have received the christmas card exchange list and we are very busy preparing to send out christmas cards to all my furfriends. I can't wait to receive cards from all my furfriends and for all my friends to get my cards. This is very exciting!!

My mom assures me that she will try her best to try to help me post more on my blog. We shall see. I miss all you guys!!

Do You Remember Me?...

Hi everyone. It's been quite some time since I have posted. This is in part because my mom was suffering from a never ending migraine. It lasted for almost 3 weeks. Also, I got my rabies and DHPP shot. After all that worrying my mom did. NOTHING HAPPENED!! Well I did get a little knot that popped up where the rabies shot was, but other than that nothing out of the ordinary happened. We did take your advice and had the shots split up so that I could deal with only one at a time. My mom thinks that this is what helped me tremendously!!

My mom had to go pick up some allergy drops for my eyes as my allergies are really bothering them. They are really runny and red. Hopefully this in combination with benadryl will clear them nasty allergy eyes.

Nothing really new around here other than on this Sunday my mom is taking me to her church to be blessed by Father Frank for the "Blessing of the Animals" in celebration of St. Francis of Assissi's feast day. I didn't get to go last year because my mom was really sick then.

Next weekend, I have to go back to the vet to get my allergy shot. But that's something that is normal for me. So everything should go okay there.

I have missed you my furfriends. I have been keeping up with your blogs, but I haven't been able to comment much because of my assistant's persistent migraines. We soon hope to catch back up and get into the swing of things. I leave you with a video of my Aunt Lauren and I playing. Enjoy!

Me So Sleepy...

My mom got me a snuggle sack back in April for my birfday and I haven't been in it much because I am terrified of it it's been too hot. However the other night I went in it and my mom of course had to capture it on camera..

In other news I had to go to the House of Satan vet yesterday for my allergy shot. Everything went great. I was such a good boy. I didn't even cry or flinch or anything. Mommy is so proud of me! However, this morning my mom woke up and noticed that there was red bumps under my skin on my belly, but they weren't raised or anything. She called the vet and they said that I had to come back in. So I had to get tortured go to the vet twice in two days. It was horrible let me tell you. The vet looked at my stomach and said (in real serious vet voice) "Mmmmhhhhmmmm..looks like Avery scraped his belly and it is just a bruise." Let's just say that my mom wasn't too thrilled about spending $34 on a BRUISE, but she thought that I was having some freak allergy reaction from the shot.

Also, remember how my mom was thinking that I was due for my annual and the 3yr rabies and DHHP shots in October..nope we gots a card in the mail and it was for THIS month..My mom about had a heart attack. She is really scared that I am going to have a reaction to the rabies shot, but she talked to the vet today and he is just going to do the physical exam part and just the rabies shot and then we will have to go back again to get the rest. This makes Mommy feels tons better. So one week from today is SHOT DAY..my mawmaw is going to take the day off from work to go with us in case I have a reaction and we are going to stay at the vet's office for a little while after the shot just to make sure I don't have a reaction. Paws crossed that everythings goes okay...

Lazy Day...

Today was pretty much a lazy day. I looked out the window some..

Then I played peek-a-boo with Mommy..

And then I did this for the rest of the day...

Me wants to wish all my furfriends a happy and safe Labor Day weekend..

Pee Ess: My mom wanted me to pass along some information. I am on Royal Canin Rabbit and Potato food. She also wanted me to thank all of you for your wonderful suggestions. She says that she will discuss some of these things with the Devil Vet...also she wants to know if any of your furfriends have had any allergic reactions to the rabies vaccine. I am due for my 3 year rabies shot next month..I didn't have any allergic reactions to my first one, but my mom is super paranoid and wants to be prepared just in case (she seems to think that I might have a reaction because of all my allergies popping up since the last time the shot was done)..if you could be so kind to let her know what to expect with a rabies shot allergic reaction then we all might just be able to get some sleep around here...BOL!

Award...

My friend Miley gave me an award. Isn't it pretty?...

My mom says that I have to follow the rules (sheesh..mom..Ok)..

1. Please thank the dog who gave this to you, and link to them.
(Thanks Miley for being such a wonderful furfriend and for giving me this pawsome award!)

2. Name 10 (yes 10) things about yourself. Try to be as creative as possible.
(I have decided that because I just did this about myself not too long ago, that I will do ten things for my mommy but things that have to do with me..ok?)

*My mom is MAJOR paranoid about me. She worries all the time over every little thing. Like if I sneeze or something (maybe not that drastic), she is ready to run off to the v-e-t..(shudders)..I do have to admit though she has gotten better since she can't afford to run to the vet all the time because she works part time only now...but she still calls the vet just to give her peace of mind..

*My mom wants to write a chihuahua mystery series featuring a dog like me (DUH!)...

*My mom has problems sleeping if I am not in the bed with her (which rarely happens.) She likes to feel me up against her leg. She says it helps her sleep knowing that I am right beside her..

*My mom is a sucker for my sad puppy dog eyes..I can get away with mostly everything, if I give her sad eyes..like that time I ate her retainers and her Harry Potter book..

*My mom has a million nicknames for me..in fact she can't even remember all the ones she has used over the past 4 years..

*One time, my mom thought she lost me and she cried and cried..even though I was just hiding..she felt so happy that I wasn't gone that she gave me all her ice cream cone..numm..

*My mom once gave me a piece of chocolate...this was before she knew the dangers of chocolate and it didn't even make me sick..a little hyper and a little more crazier then normal but I was just fine..she still won't forgive herself for that...

*My mom had my name picked out before she even saw me for the first time. She was going to name whatever dog she got "Avery"..but luckily my name fits me..I looks like an "Avery"...

*My mom has a necklace with my name on that she wears all the time. She says she likes having me close to her heart all the time..(MUSHY!)

*And finally, my mom would do anything for me to make sure that I was happy. She quit smoking for me and gave up a lot for me when I was going through all that allergy stuff. She was quite poor for some time, but it didn't bother her because she wants to make sure that I get everything that I need. I loves her..

(Please ignore the horrible hairdo of mine..mom needed to take me to the groomers really bad)

So now the last thing for me to do is to give away the award to 15 of my friends and because I am really too lazy to pick anyone I want to give this award to all my furfriends and say thank you for following my blog and my adventures (cough cough)..you are the bestest furfriends in the wholes wides world!

Avery's Allergy Ordeal...

Hey everybody. Avery's mom here. Taking over the blog for a post. A lot of you know through Avery's blog and comments left on your blogs about Avery's allergies. Some of you have questions and etc about what were his symptoms were/are and etc. So I decided to post about them on here to answer everyone's questions all at once...

Ever since Avery was a little puppy of 4 months or so he was on that Moist n' Meaty Cheeseburger Moist/Dry food (I think Purina makes it..I cant remember though). However after hearing about how bad that is for dogs for weight gain and how bad it is for their teeth I decided to switch Avery to a dry food. This all happened last fall and the decision was made after consulting with the vet about which food to get and all that. I went to Petsmart and got him some Iam's dry dog food and started him on it right away. He loved that food. However, within minutes of eating it, he was itching so bad he couldn't even walk. I figured that he had an allergic reaction and so I gave him benadryl and called the vet and explained what was going on. They told me that he probably had a reaction and told me that for dogs with food allergies to get him some food that was made out of duck or venison. So I rushed out with my mom that night back to Petsmart and spent $30 on different dog foods. I think I got two different kinds to start. I then gave Avery venison based food at his next meal and he ate it, but I could tell that he hated it. He only ate it because he knew that he wasn't getting anything else to eat.

Let's take a moment and go back a little bit before we finish. Avery has always had dry skin. It looked like he had dandruff, poor guy. He would scratch and stuff but nothing really too bad to be worried about. I bought some oatmeal bath knowing that it was good for dry skin. It didn't really seem to help all that much. Also, Avery used to get table scraps and all kinds of goodies. However Avery started to pack on the pounds and I knew that it was really bad for him, so I informed the rest of the family that he was NOT allowed anything other than the occasional DOG treat and his food. It was tough at first, but I am so glad that we stopped knowing what we do now. He used to weigh in at almost 13 pounds when he should ideally weigh in close to 10 pounds. He weighs 10 pounds 4 ounces now. That comes with strict rules on the amount he gets to eat. He gets two meals a day. One in the morning and one at night. And he gets treats 3-4 times a month. I am like dog food nazi around here.

Okay back to the allergies. So after I switched him to the venison, we still had the very prominent itching and runny eyes and nose, scratching at his ears, sneezing. So back to the vet he went. The vet then switch his food to a $30 bag of rabbit and potato. Thank god Avery ate it right up. He has been on it ever since. Well even with the food seeming to be good, the allergies symptoms were not going away. They were better, but still bothering him. The vet and I discussed having Avery allergy tested as we knew he had food allergies, but couldn't pinpoint what it was exactly and obviously there was something else that was bothering him as it wasn't going away.. Seeing as I am just starting out in this crap economy with my career and all I didn't have a lot of money. The allergy test was going to cost me close to $500 just for the test and then based on the result he might have to have allergy shots which cost about another $112 or so. I was in a panic. Where was I going to get this money. Well thankfully by this point we were well into February, so I hurried up and did my taxes and used my tax return to pay for Avery's allergy test.

On the day of the test, he was not allowed to have any benadryl or steroids (we had to resort to that somewhere along the way as the benadryl wasn't working there for a while) as it could throw the results of the test. They took two vials of blood and sent it off to the lab. I waited an anxious week before I got the results back.

Side story real quick..I smoked cigarettes pretty much off and on the whole time Avery has been with me (since 6 weeks). I noticed that the cigarette smoke bothered him, so I was pretty sure it was going to come up positive in his test. So that being said, I told myself that if Avery came up positive for a cigarette smoke allergy that I would quit for him (and myself) so that wouldn't be a cause of his allergies acting up.

I was at work when the vet called me to inform me of Avery's allergies. She asked me if I had the time to talk to her and I said that I did. I knew right then and there that this wasn't going to be good. Avery has tested positive for 21 different allergies. Some of them food and some of them environmental. Here's a quick list- (Foodwise): Corn, Carrots, Oats, Soy, Venison, and Kelp. (Environmental): All kinds of Grass, Trees, Weeds, and Fungi.

Here are the ones that when the vet told me, I cried. He WAS allergic to cigarette smoke (no surprise there..not a big deal either, I knew what had to be done). I quit the next day and haven't smoked since. He was also allergic to fleas, and the biggest one of all...COTTON..Yes my dog had/has a cotton allergy. Not very common in humans, but more common in dogs. Rare, but still. My dog had to be one of the rare ones with this allergy. Figures.

Talk about major life change. Avery sleeps with me at night. Always has and always will. I will never make him sleep on the floor. However I had 100% cotton t-shirt sheets and so I went that night after work with my mom again and went all over the whole town to find non-cotton sheets. Let me tell you, not a lot of places carry non-cotton sheets. Walmart, Target, etc. do not carry non-cotton sheets in their stores. You can buy them online, but not in the stores, at least not here where I live. Finally I found some Microfiber sheets that were on sale (thank god) at JC Penney's. I bought two sets. Now I had to draw the line with our clothes being cotton. I couldn't make everyone go around in silk clothes now and I wasn't wearing silk clothes. I will do many things for Avery, but wearing silk clothes is not one of them. So I talked to the vet about this too and it wasn't a big deal if Avery came into contact with our clothes as long as he wasn't in cotton all the time.

So because of the numerous allergies it was determined that he needed to be on allergy shots. So I forked out the extra money and ordered the allergy vaccines. He started out getting allergy shots every two days. We give them to him here at home. My mom gives them to him in the neck and I hold him down and still because I don't have it in my heart to stick him. I hate giving him the shots, but they really do seem to have helped him a lot. The worst part of the shots are that they burn once they get in. He cries the most pitiful scream as I know it hurts him so bad. It breaks my heart to pieces to hear him/see him like that, but I am helping him and I have to tell myself that. However, after the shot we gave last week I have decided that I am going to take him to the vet to get them. I can't stand to hear him cry like that any more. I just can't do it anymore. It has gotten to the point where I have asked myself is it necessary to keep doing this to him and the only thing that keeps me going is that he has gotten so much better with them and it would almost be wrong of me to deny him something that is helping him. We have been giving him the shots since the beginning of March and now he gets them once a month. He will probably be on these shots for the rest of his life so I have been told, but if they help him then I will do it. He still has to get benadryl maybe once or twice a week but it overall has gotten better, since we have eliminate as much contact as we can with all his trigger allergens.

Apparently terrier breeds are very common for having severe allergies the vet told me. Avery didn't inherit much Schnauzer traits from whichever parent was the Schnauzer. Just the beard, bushy eyebrows, and floppy ears, but he sure did get the allergies. Now some other breeds can get allergies too, in fact I'm sure all breeds can, but terrier breeds are more common allergy sufferers. The vet told me something that I would like to pass on to you so that you are aware. When humans have allergies they show symptoms with runny eyes and nose, sneezing, head and chest congestion. When dogs show symptoms of allergies, it shows in their skin. Dogs' allergy receptors are in their skin. So when your dog has flaky constant dry skin, it could possibly be an allergy to something. A lot of dogs have food allergies but they don't show up severely enough to cause their owners to notice anything. Every dog reacts differently, just like us humans.

So we have learned to live with Avery's allergies. Strict diet limitations. I have found only two treats that he can have that don't mess his stomach up or cause reactions. The food is working wonderfully. It's expensive, but it helps. I can't eliminate the grass/weed allergies, but he has a box in the garage that is filled with sod so that he can use the bathroom (we have coyotes and hawks) in the safety of the garage. This is also helpful because it doesn't have tree pollen and other stuff in it because it is safe from these things.

I'm sorry for the long post, but I didn't want to skim on anything. Just in case some of this sounded familiar to you and it might lead you to do some more investigation to help your dog. Also, if any of you guys have any questions in regards to allergies or treatment feel free to ask me. I am pretty sure at some point and time we have tried almost everything and we can offer some insight with our experiences and try to answer your questions. However, I strongly encourage you to talk to your vet if you have some concerns, as I am not a vet and they will of course be the one who can help you decide treatment options or diagnose symptoms.

Oopsies....

A couple of years ago when I was a pupster I had quite the adventure. You see my mom wears retainers every night because she used to wear braces and they help keep everything in place. Well one day I got a hold of these said retainers and proceeded to rip them into tiny little plastic shreds leaving them all over the house. When my mom found out she was pretty mad. I got into big trouble.

My mom had to go back to the orthodontist and have a replacement pair of retainers made and they cost her $400.00. So let's just say she wasn't exactly the most happy camper in the world.

So I am curious about all the things my furfriends have done. Those things where we got in trouble at the time, but we look back and say maybe I shouldn't have done that but it was unforgetable nonetheless.

So I am opening the floor up to all my furfruends here. Please post on your own blogs about an incident where you got into trouble. If you share a blog with another furpal then make sure they share a story as well..

Can't wait to hear of your adventures..Mom says don't give me any bad ideas though...BOL!!

Awards..Oh My...

I have received an award from my wonderful furfriend Maggie Mae! Yay! My first award [EDIT: My assistant made a mistake. This is my 3rd award..Sprinkles gave me the other two. Geez Mom]..I feel so honored to have received this award...

Now apparently I am supposed to share seven things that you might not know about me..Here goes.

1. My name should have been Hoover because I act like a vacuum and suck everything right up off the floor.

2. I have a secret obsession (well..maybe not so secret) of chasing my tail. I have yet to catch that pesky thing.

3. My whole name is Avery Jack Cleophus Napoleon Bruno (last name omitted because my mom gave me internet rules...)

4. I am embarrassed to say that my mom doesn't know much about my heritage. She forgot to ask the lady all the important things when she got me.. like whether my mom was the chihuahua or the schnauzer, etc...Guess she was stunned stupid by my extreme handsomeness..

5. I absolutely loathe hats or anything on my head, so much in fact that I hunch down and refuse to walk and look like a complete doofus.

6. I drive my mom absolutely crazy by licking the pillows all the time.

7. I am absolutely not a morning dog. If my mom tries to kiss me before she leaves for work I growl and show my teeth at her. If anyone comes within 5 feet of me I try to make myself invisible and growl to let them know that I am not ready to deal with them yet..BOL!

So apparently I am supposed to pass this award off to 15 friends, but that would be mostly everyone because I still don't have too many followers yet. So I have decided to give the award to seven of my dearest friends.

1. My good furfriends at Chis and the City..Chewy and Lilibell are quite dear to my heart..

2. Twix over at A Wiener Dog Blog..I absolutely love reading about Twix's adventures..

3. Mollie Jo, Bobo and Uncle Puppy over at Dog Eared..these three keep me quite on my toes with all their excitement.

4.Draco over at the Dragon Time Chihuahua Style blog..He is quite the cool chihuahua.

5. Dougie Declan, The Wagger with Swagger, because he is so cute and who wouldn't want to learn more about him?

6. Little Princess Luna because sometimes I think she is my long lost sister..BOL!

7. And finally...Bijou and Banjo over at One Puppy's Life because they both are absolutely darling..

Bow Ties and Flames...

Hi everybody..my mom has been major slack and has forgotten all about helping me with my blog..I have some news to share.. You guys remember Cosmo the Cockatiel that I wrote about in my last post?..well my Mawmaw decided that he wasn't the best fit for our family after she found out about him causing allergies for everyone in the house. So off to the store Cosmo went. He was a cool bird and very interesting despite his annoying loudness, but we do hope that he finds a home where he can be loved and well taken care of..

And on to other things..I received a package in the mail the other day from none other then Chewy and Lilibell (they are my best buddies!!)..I opened the package up with some assistance from my Mommy of course and found this letter from them!

My mom looked deeper into the package and pulled out these two vest that Chewy and Lilibell's mom had made for me. My mom made me put them on to model them for my blugger friends...

You like? I think that I do look like quite the stylish pupster..If I don't say so myself..

New Addition to my family...

Last night my hoomans brought home this loud tweeting thing. He chirps and sings and whistles and is very annoying. He's cutting into MY naptime. I think that I needs to have a talk with this noisy animal. Ugh. Something about he is a birfday present for my Mawmaw..I say take it back...BOL!

Note from Mom: We got Avery's Mawmaw a cockatiel for her birthday. She has wanted one for forever so we went ahead and surprised her with it last night. Avery seems a little skeptical about this new creature being in our house, but hopefully with time he will just get used to the bird being here. I was a little worried that Avery would be jealous because he LOVES his Mawmaw, but he seems to be doing okay. Here's a picture of our newest family member. His name is Cosmo and he is a 9 month old Cockatiel..

My Wish Came True...

So yes..my biggest wish came true..the other night my mom was eating some 'kix' (the kids cereal..) when the dog gods looked down upon me and a kix fell out of her bowl and I got to eat it!!

My mom was not happy by any means as I have to be on special food, treats, etc..due to my extensive list of allergies..she was mentally preparing herself for a puke or diarrhea fest, but to her great surprise I wasn't sick at all..

My mom said that I was in big trouble, but I gave her this face and all was okay..(haha SUCKER!)

Um..Mom? Why is Ms. Platti trying to give me a hug? BOL!!

My Gotcha Story...

I don't think that I have shared the story of how I was adopted by my mommy yet to all you furfriends yet. So here goes:

My mom has always wanted a little dog ever since she was a little girl. She would ask my Mamaw and Popaw every birthday or Christmas for a little dog and they always said no. She was bummed, but then when she was old enough to get her own place she wanted to get a little pup of her own.

For some reason my Mommy always wanted a Jack Russell so one Saturday she went to the dog pound and found an older Jack Russell up for adoption. She wanted to go to the flea market to see what dogs were being sold there before she made a final decision, but she said that if she didn't find anything that she would go back and get the Jack Russell.

So she went to the flea market and saw a girl Jack Russell being sold for a little more than my mom wanted to spend. And my mom wasn't too thrilled about having a girl dog. For some reason, she knew that she wanted a little boy and wasn't really interested in a little girl dog.

She was walking through the flea market when she saw this lady and her daughter with a little playpen filled with three little Chihuahua/Schnauzer puplets. She went over to look and this was the first time that I met my mommy. She fell in love right there with my big eyes and cute little floppy ears. She saw my sister who was short-haired and had emerald green eyes and my brother who look almost identical to me, but he had a round face. My mom decided that she would look at all the rest of the dogs before she made a final decision, but she couldn't get me out of her head. She came back!!

My Mom's boyfriend at the time wanted to get me and my sister, but my mom said no. She said that she could only handle one puplet at the time financially and didn't want to have two puplets on her hands. So my mom paid the lady $50 dollars for me and off we went. And life has never been the same since for either one of us.

A few months after I was adopted my mom split with that boyfriend of hers and couldn't decide if she wanted to move back in with my Mawmaw or with my mom's real dad. She wanted to move in with her dad, but he had just lost his dog of 13 years and told her that he couldn't handle having another dog in the house so soon and that my mom would have to find another home for me if she wanted to live there. This wasn't an option for my mom. She refused to give me up knowing that she would have a broken heart so she moved in with my Mawmaw and Popaw. My Mawmaw and Popaw fell right in love with me right away so it was meant to be. There was no way my mom was giving me up!

And so we've been together for a little over 4 years now and my mom says that she is thankful for me every single day. I love her and she loves me!

Random Thoughts...

Do you think that I have enough toys?

In other news my mom got one of this things called a Nook for her birfday and has been spending quite some time reading "ebooks" on this thing. So much time in fact that she hasn't been able to keep up with helping with my blog and its been cutting into my belly rub time. Here is a picture of the nook in case you don't know what I am talking about.

Also, some good news, my knot has drastically reduced in size. It was the size of a half-dollar, but now its about the size of a penny. My mommy is really happy that it is going down in size.

Happy 24th Birfday to my Mommy!!!...

(My Mommy and me...I luv her!!!...)

Today is my mommy's 24th birfday..I woke her up with lots of kisses this morning, just to let her know how special she is to me..I also got her a card that has a chihuahua on the front of it, just like me!! I also gave her a bookmark (because she is forever reading and ignoring me..boo!) that says that something like dogs love you unconditionally or something. (I dont remember..)

Sowee we haven't been on much (moms been kinda lazy..) but nothing really new to share with you my furfriends other than I have a new haircut and I have a knot on my side. My mom found it right by my hip the other day and was freaking out and going crazy. She took me to the vet on Monday and the vet man told her that it was a reaction to one of the shots I got back a couple of weeks ago and that it would go away in about 1-2 months and nothing to worry about..whew!!

(Yes..I know that I am a boy and that I am laying on a PINK blanket..but it's my mom's blanket [named Slimey..my mom is EXTREMELY Weird!!] that she has had since she was 6 months old and it smells like her..so there!!) Anyways..so went waited until Mawmaw got home from work and then we went to Petsmart (there are no pics of the trip because my mommy forgot the camera at home..)

I helped pick out some great pressies for Chewy and Lilibell. Here is a pic of the bags...I also used my gift card and got some cool new toys!! Check them out:I have decided to name one of my new toys after Bobo..He and Mollie Jo were the ones who helped me get these toys..as of posting this blog post, we have not named the other two toys. Here is a picture of me and "Bobo"...Then it was time for a bath and lots of zoomies..(no dog or hooman was harmed during the filming of this video..bol!!)
